Understanding the Search Settings

Search Settings

This guide will help you understand how the Search Settings and filters available in the Marketplace module help you control and customize your search results.

You get 3 sections:

• Markets
• General
• Filters

Markets

This section allows you to include / exclude marketplaces you want to search, out of all supported marketplaces by Snap. Here's a list of supported marketplaces and regions:

• eBay (US, UK, CA, AU, MY, IN, NL & IT)

• Poshmark (US & CA)

• Grailed (US, UK, CA, AU)

General

The general settings give you options that affects all marketplaces. Here's a list of options you can enable / disable based on your needs:

• Listings Read Limit:
  Total number of listings you want to include in your data. (Recommended, 200-600)
  

• Include Shipping Cost:
  Include the shipping cost in your data. Perfect for users who offer free shipping and want to include shipping cost in their price
  

• Remove Top 5% Pricing:
  Remove outliers by excluding items priced in the top 5%. (Recommended)

Filters

The filters allow you to include / exclude items from your search results. Here's a list of options available:

• Include Auction Items (eBay only):
  Include auction items in your data. Not recommended, low priced auctions can lead to inaccurate data. This setting has no effect on marketplaces other than eBay.
  

• Include Sold With Best Offer (eBay only):
  Include items sold with best offer. Not recommended, pricing not available for items sold with best offer. If included, Snap will use the original listing price. This setting has no effect on marketplaces other than eBay.
